Members may have noticed that last month’s newsletter was later in the month than usual. Normally we try to publish in the week before the scheduled meeting, but this has slipped a little with the closure of the Elmcroft Hall and therefore the meetings we hold there. Also the coronavirus has impacted on the working life of some of the Committee.

At the time of writing we are still hopeful that the Club may be able to return to the Elmcroft Centre for our meeting on the 15th July. We are therefore now actively trying to bring the publi- cation dates back on schedule over the next couple of issues, with the plan to publish the July issue in the week before our celebratory return to something like normal. (Though, of course, no one yet knows quite what shape the new “normal” will take!)
