The first part of the April meeting was taken up with an E.G.M. Chaired by Derek Dowle. Thankyou to all those members who attended the meeting to vote and those members who could not attend but used their proxy vote.
Here is a photo of our May demonstrator Martin Saban-Smith at the Makers Central Exhibition in Birmingham. He is the founder of Hampshire Sheen. From his workshop in Four Marks, Hampshire, Martin Saban-Smith teaches, turns, and films his creative woodturning creations for social media. He also makes the popular Hampshire Sheen range of wax and Oil finishes as well as the atmospheric Intrinsic collection of coloured dyes.
Martin has a fully equipped workshop with five lathes.
